all these killings of young black men with no resolve would make anyone violent. i wish i was there in ferguson, mo. i don't care if other blacks became hostile towards me because i honestly wouldn't blame them. but where are the whites who live there? why aren't they standing and marching in the streets as well. the divide has never been so apparent and we're living post segregation...

I've come to the conclusion that white guys hate us because we're more masculine. They feel threatened by us sexually (no homo, I mean they feel like we can take their women).

I mean they're totally obsessed with this bbc stereotype and they're the main ones who perpetuate it. Black men are almost always seen as cool, hip, masculine, bad boys, etc... Whereas white dudes are usually thought of as wimpy.

And throughout my life i always noticed it was the wimpy ones who had the biggest problem with me. Whenever i had like white coaches, white gym teachers, or even when i meet white guys at the gym or track they're cool. No tension between us because they don't feel threatened by my masculinity. But whenever i meet a wimpy white boy i can just see resentment all over their face from the jump.

This will change when black peope will start ro exert some king of power. And the concern should be why white people don't respect us rather them liking you. I don't ask myself that question because I don't care. But I do care blacks gaining respect cause that's what truly matters.

i think much of it is a self-fulfilling hatred that begets white supremacy policies that damage black america's ability to progress as a community. as a result, you witness the degeneracy in our black neighborhoods. the appalling levels of poverty, which are a result of white supremacy, have produced millions of blacks who lack education, culture, and an appreciation of self. because of this, they have essentially been reduced to savages. i don't say that disparagingly; it is merely a fact that many blacks in america - under the heel of white supremacy - have reverted to animal behavior that borders on savagery.

and because of this and how the media portrays blacks, painting ALL of us as savages, white people in modern society have been bred to hate us and fear us. all whites didn't act like this. look to the past, and you will see that black people comfortably lived in europe before slavery. they owned property. they participated in politics. even in the new world, blacks were once treated as equals before they became slaves. something changed, a select group of very wealthy whites saw a surplus of labor that could be gleaned from africa. and that is when white supremacy really took root and it has never released its grip.

and now we're dealing with the outcome. as i said, it has been self-fulfilling. if you were white and you saw the predominant image of black people being illiterate, uncultured, unclean, pants sagging savages, you would be afraid of black people, too. that's why it's up to us - middle and upper class black america - to fight against this negative depiction of black people. it's why i HATE any black man that celebrates genocidal rap. it's why i am disgusted by the behavior of the clippers after that cac opened his mouth. it's why i am proud of obama and eric holder (who may have not done enough, admittedly) and how they stand up in the face of racism and present two powerful images of intelligent and capable black men.

we're in a war of perception, people. the savage black is what white america sees 24/7. it's time for the civilized black to be the face of our community.

Are you really this confused, everyday and i mean every damn day whites see Black folks, they see a range and a complexity of Black folks.

I catch the red line train on the DC metro system to work, now that line has some of the most big money making White folks in this area. And every time the ride that train they see Black professional, attorneys, accounts, tech people, government workers, students, janitors, security guards, waiters, train operators, policemen/women, and sometimes little thugs, and young women with kids, and everything else.

But they've always seen the range of Black folks, and know that most of us aren't thugs and low lifes, but it's what they choose to believe. And to you no disrespected intended, I don't know your background or your situation. But it really seems like you need to get to know Black people, stop trying so hard to impress White folks.

Cause some of the stuff you post, just really makes you look like, you've truly never been around a Black community on a intimate level. Just my thougts.
