Whenever random cacs come at me asking what I do for a living, I already know what type of time they’re on.
That question is usually always veiled under the guise of curiosity like the young lady mentioned; however, it’s really to just sum up what kinda kneegrow you are.
Whenever they see a kneegrow in a setting they feel like we don’t belong in or something that goes against their stereotypes of us they get inquisitive.
A lot of White folks rarely see us in leadership roles, being sophisticated, or having money. They only see us in some support role usually working in the shadow of another White person or only have to deal with us in brief passing. When they see some us in other roles and settings of the contrary it completely debunks what they subconsciously think and it messes with their psyche.
