What you fools need to realise is that a lot of these women on these apps are just there to boost their own egos (and insta's/snaps etc. You can eat and it'd be no effort but then you gotta wade through the ones with true high interest and bird brains that i just described.

I agree it's my life has been busy with work and everything so I decided to try a dating app as a supplement. But what you have stated are facts.
You probably right. I think she definitely was on there for shyts and giggles and is probably seeing someone. Besides now that I think of it she only had one pic.

Yeah a lot of women on the dating apps are just attention whores/time wasters. They'll get hundreds of messages per week and still be sitting on the apps for years, guaranteed.

Yes, women reject and then refer you to a friend on occasion
Yes, this happens- it happened to me multiple times approaching in real life
I treated it as a polite "no" and kept moving
What were they trying to accomplish?
I don't know exactly.. Closest answers are..
1) Women actually ask/pester their friends to be set up on blind dates
..so they satisfy that (potentially unwelcome) obligation ,,, using you as the man to be named later
2) women worry about their single friends being single..
They think you would be "good" for their friend
So they initiate the situation on their own
..busybody shyt
3) you possess one or two traits that the friend in question fixates on
..those criteria might be semi-rare or random
..so she refers you off to the friend who would truly appreciate those traits
4) according to my wife, some women have made so many bad choices with men
And they acknowledge that their instincts are broken
That these women only date on the referral/okay of someone with better judgment than them
Like "okay, this man seems safe.. You can give him a try"
I can also think back to a first date..
We clearly weren't compatible
And at the end, she gave me her sister's phone number lol
And ticked off the differences between the two of them.. I didn't ever call the sister, but it actually made sense and I wasn't offended
