I don't feel bad for abused women like most people are. I have seen enough relationships with people I know to understand that 90% of the time its mutual abuse. Women are primarily verbal abusers and men prefer to use physical abuse to combat it. Both are wrong but both are still mutual. Some of these women are insane and will challenge the grimiest of men and provoke them to violence. You see it all to often, the divorced or baby momma that tries to make like miserable for her ex only to be eventually be merked for her antics.

I'm a firm believer that everyone should keep their hands to themselves. There's a common misconception that women can't be abusers, when in fact I have known many to verbally and physically abuse their partners, but men are far less likely to seek help or involve law enforcement. It's a nasty cycle

They usually don't have any other support. Then, if they have his child it feels harder to leave and break up the family. It usually takes them going to the hospital, almost dying or their child being threatened or abused for them to try to leave.

When the man you love, who treats you well flips and hits you, it's shocking. It doesn't make sense and you try to rationalism what went wrong. Usually, these abusive men are charming and affectionate. Most people wont go into a relationship with someone they know will hit them. It comes as a surprise. That's why you hear most women say that they never thought it would happen to them.

and think she is the only one who can save him
because no one else will do it
sometimes she has no earning power
or is too lazy to work an actual job
so she takes the beatings because it is path of least resistance

sometimes she has a warped view of reality
and every man she has known is abusive
so she doesn't know any better
sometimes she is religious or kids are involved
and she wants to stay together no matter what
to avoid stigma of being divorced or a single mom
