There are many reasons:
1. Women love a project because it makes them feel better about themselves as a woman. Like Getting with a dude that has himself together makes her feel unfulfilled.
2. Women find recklessness exciting. They don't like knowing what's coming next from a dude.
3. Some women secretly love having sex with multiple men at once, and thugs are more likely to engage in such behavior.
4. A lot of women grew up without a strong father figure in their lives, so the media's thuggish, hyper-masculine image of black men is what they think a real man is.
5. Furthermore, the media's portrayal of a real black man generally makes women feel safer around these men.
6. These thugs be hitting these chicks raw out here, and these broads want babies. Combine that with not only the lack of a strong father figure, but the fact that she probably feels that the strong Father Figure is not required to raise a child. Because of this, there really is no use for these squares out here, unless the thugs never commit.
Even then, she might try white guys first. Hell, they figure if you're going to go Square, might as well go all the way

No woman in her right mind would want to be with a man like that. If one does - it's some daddy issues and self-love issues present that need to be worked out.
The question that really needs to be asked and addressed is why do some men aspire to be or act like a "thug?" (whatever that means).

But, I really think it has to do with those young ones being raised without a father in their lives and households.
Which goes back to the importance of Black men being present in their daughters lives.
If a woman was raised by a Single mom -- who was also a raised by a Single mom -- the no-father/unstable cycle continues.
That leads to a daughter who will look for love and validation in any man who has a penis and shows her any type of attention.

like what?Thugs provide a certain amount of excitement that you just don't get from square nikkas.
Women want good D, they assume more aggressive, physically dominant men have good D, They assume Thugs are more aggressive and physically dominant. End of story. They ain't operating of some higher spiritual level, they choosing they same way we do. We aint looking at woman like, oh she looks so responsible and professional
