No one fukking sees Kendrick as pac reincarnated.
Retire that bullshyt, dude samples pac at the end of his album now people act
like they're regularly spoken of as "the same" or "similar".
Anyone with a pair of ears and eyes can see they carry themselves entirely different.
Kendrick gets undue hate from all sides.
Old heads who think some rapper who was hot a decade ago who couldn't a pen
concept album to save his life is somehow better.
New heads who don't know shyt about rappers past the five or so popular ones
that currently run the landscape are disgusted by the lack of trap beats and intelligible lyrics.
Then intermediate heads are pissed their former mainstream saviors like "Kanye West"
and "Lupe fiasco" have roundly rejected that title with albums that define mediocrity like "lasers"
or "The Life Of Pablo".
So when they Kendrick getting love, they get salty

These sorts are the worse because they want to straddle the line of "Lyricism" and
"authenticity" while championing these two but not incredible talents like an Oddisee or Skyzoo.
It's not about rap 9/10, it's purely about image and/or hardcore stanning of someone else.
As in Kendrick can't be regarded as great because I like this or that rapper.
I mean if I'm just looking at TPAB as an album off the top :
The lyrics are great, they're all connected to the overarching concept and they
explore Kendrick's trials and tribulations as a young black man in America while
also confronting certain ideas of Blackness.
Then the fukking music, lyrics aside is shytting on the vast majority of what's on offer
in popular music.
And finally the production was crisp, warm and fantastic, as a music lover, I was
surprised (but not really...) by certain corny trolls trying to downplay it.
