I used to go to Thrashers games and they were fun. It just seems like if it wasn't a sport you grew up on its hard to sit at home and watch it. People like watching things they have experiences with.

When watching hockey I really have no idea if I'm watching good strategy, if the coach is doing what he is supposed to, etc.....I know all that about basketball, football, and baseball.

Blame Atlanta Spirit, they wanted nothing to do with the Thrashers and made sure that no potential ownership group willing to keep the team in Atlanta would happen.

So a good commissioner works with the team, ownership group & finds other prospective owners. You don't let a franchise get relocated from the biggest market in the Southeast on some "oh well shyt", but then go hard to preserve hockey in Phoenix & South Fla
