The nikka is a cornball and culture vulture yet some of yall still Stan this man heavy.
I don't understand.

Even before the Pusha T and Meek mill beefs there was something off about this dude.

He doesn't even make music for real nikkas. Idk he makes decent songs sometimes but something is off as of he treats music like he an actor still and plays a role in all his shyt

I just think Drake is the "Hero" hip hop deserves at this point.

- People been lying in their raps since the 90s
- People been using Ghostwriters since the 90s
- People been using their status to keep the playing field uneven between whos songs hit and which ones dont since the 90s
- People have been signing guys to bad contracts to keep their talent in house and under thumb since the 90s

Every single thing Drake does even down to the singing and stealing someone elses sound has been stuff that someone else in hip hop did since the 90s. It almost seems like he studied how the industry really works and moves accordingly to gaurantee his own success.

Drake is just the most successful at and is always going to be the softest target for it.

The reason why strict Hip Hop dudes don't like him cause he's a pop star and has brought pop star practices into Hip Hop like never seen before...

The reason why the causal or more musically diverse Hip Hop fan likes him is because he's a pop star and brought pop star practices into Hip Hop like never seen before...

The thing about ghostwriters though...

I don't think there has ever been a top rapper that brags about being the best rapper ever use a ghostwriter...that's some new weird shyt...

Imagine Biggie having a ghostwriter or the WuTang Clan use ghostwriters or Nas using a ghostwriter...

Puffy and Dre don't even count in the rapper category and they were pretty open with it...

What Drake did is sacrilegious to being an elite rapper

I never liked Drake, but I came to soften up because I realized the whole game kinda fukked up and he kinda makes decent music that people vibe to and got some nice collabs with Wayne/Ross/French I fukk with.

Meek I used to like very much, but started realizing he too emotional to the point he thinks he has to beef with everybody just for not reposting his album on their IG (or getting a shoutout from someone he don't like). That's the reason why he beefed with Drake wasn't it? Wale too. I was on his side at first for exposing Drake for the ghostwriting shyt, but when it became apparent he wouldn't deliver that reference track to Flex that night and made us wait, it had me smh. But coo, whatever. But when he dragged in AR-AB just because Drake mentioned him in a song, I thought that was some hoe shyt. What did AR AB do for Meek to yell "fukk AR AB" at a Nicki Minaj concert? They had some homies who had tension but Ab never disrespected Meek or said nothing negative until Meek flipped at him out over Drake's "in the Wraith listening to AR AB" line.

Then when I remembered Meek was hanging with 50 Cent when Fif was beefin with Ross, but now that Meek beefin with Drake he don't want Wale or Ross fukking with Drake, I thought that was hypocritical. I stopped listening to Meek after that whole shyt.

Why do y'all hate him?

I think some of y'all get WAY to invested in to these rappers for real.

I don't hate any rappers, nor do I love any rappers. just enjoy or don't enjoy the music. y'all get in to this shyt more for the soap opera nonsense than the actual music.

if you like the music then listen to it, if you don't then don't listen.

but to spend hours on hours discussing the lives of these dudes is some very feminine shyt.

wanna discuss the music? dope, wanna discuss the newest diss track and dissect it ? sure. do I give a fukk that this dude got plastic surgery or not? naw, I don't.
