oooooh someone said ****** in a movie... Lets start marching.... fukk out of here with this bullshyt. If you a ****** you will be offended. If you not living in a ****** state of mind you will not give a fukk about it. A white dude can call me a ****** straight to my face and I'll look him dead in his eyes..and laugh. I don't view myself as one, and I'm not going to give them the power or satisfaction of them thinking that shyt effects me. You think just cause they don't say it outloud anymore that they don't still think you not one. You gonna give them that power? fukk what they think, and take that power away from them. They want you actin all emotional, and outraged to show, and prove and say yup knew you were a ****** all along. fukk them...
I think Quentin's method is a nod to US, he shows us what people really think but won't say. His formula is very RAW, that's why he wins. People bring up Pulp Fiction and "dead ****** storage", but he played a white man, who lived off his black wife. He pokes fun at social ironies in a very realistic way.

most of my life I have had a hard time dealing with cacs saying ****** in ANY capacity. shyt would enrage me... the audacity of this pale face using this word like he is above being checked. I had to tone that shyt down... shyt is not productive in the grand scheme of what is important to me and mine. I've studied the lessons I've listened to many a men wiser than me and at the end of the day if I let that shyt continue to effect my life it is empowering them. just the thought of at any moment i can transform from rational to irrational all b/c of someone else ignorance. fukk that. I still don't like it, but fukk it. it ain't on me anymore. I don't think QT abuses it as some think like he got this ****** pass or some shyt. like the other breh above said its a nod to US. this society is flawed as fukk... its dirty and its ugly. the history books white wash many atrocities, but you can't white wash these films. people will see how ridiculous our society was if we can ever evolve.....

This type of shyt always makes me laugh when my people start getting pissed at what white people call us in a movie then turn around and disrespect our own race at the drop of a hat. Willie Lynch letter still working. I have no problem with Tarantino the man makes great movies period point blank and people bytchin about Django and haven't even watched it is more laughable. Really ironic that threads like these weren't popping up until Spike Lee got on his high horse and started criticizing Tarantino for using the word in Pulp Fiction and was on a campaign to bash Django (even though he said he never even saw it) at every chance he did an interview. I got love for Spike but the reality is that he hasn't made a quality movie since the 25th Hour IMO. The word has no power unless you give it.
So true, and I don't understand how people are mad at the use of ****** in Django for. People are acting like in that period the word wasn't flowing out of white peoples mouths like water. He just realistically represented the usage of the word if you ask me.
