:what: did you also hate how Jordan played cause Kobe's basically his clone?

Hate is driving these nikkas to make irrational statements. You don't hate the way he plays. You hate him. Not because you know him personally but because you think you know him based on what the media has portrayed. That to me is being a bytch since you care about the personal life of another grown man.

I watch basketball to be entertained PERIOD. Don't care about nikkas personal lives or their personalities. I like anyone who can put on a good show.

You don't score 30,000 points and be overrated.

But other than that people just don't enjoy basketball when it's not their favorite player playing. It's sad. I've just recently become a fan of Lebron in the past year becuz I watched this dude carry a limp legged 2 guard to a championship. But there are other players who you would consider 2nd and 3rd tier guys who I like to watch as well. Jordan and Stern really fukked up a lot of you nikkas heads. It's really a damn shame.

A lot of interesting answers so far. Funny thing is the majority of those answers are completely irrelevant to the game of basketball or are baseless rumors spawned from years of assumptions and vendettas. I just want to get to the bottom of this, forget the stan shyt cuz if Kobe wasn't a great player there'd be no stans so you hate him by proxy.

I just need to know how a successful black man gets hated on so viciously for so long. :what:

:comeon: you must be white

only a cac would write a post like this dripping with so much racism

lemme guess you also hate nikkas who celebrate touchdowns in football.....ole just had the ball to the ref crakkka

This is really lazy.

You know, by reacting like this, your actually reinforcing a stereotype that the black players I'm alluding to represent black players in general. I mentioned four players with similar games, who happen to be black, in a league that is majority black, and critiqued their GAMES.

Of course you can be overrated with 30,000 points.

The term overrated is relative. Obviously he doesn't suck. But were talking about a player who constantly comes up in comparisons to two players (LeBron, MJ) who blow him away statistically and he doesn't belong in a box with.

He's had favorable team circumstances nearly his whole career that have helped him build a great legacy, and with things like the 30,000 points you mentioned, he's reached grand big totals because he's taken more shots than all but four other players in NBA history.

All the raping stuff, the personality stuff, etc at the end of the day doesn't affect what happens between the lines.

If someone is critical of his game, is that hate tho? :dwillhuh:

Uhh... He does belong in the convo with them. Does it mean he's better? No. But he's in the conversation. But as you stated about him being overrated, his place and history is also subjective. I'm not here to convince you to like him or anything like that but saying shyt like he's only shot less shots than 4 other people in the history if the game is a terrible argument. He's 34 yrs old and been in the league 17 yrs. of those 17 yrs he's been one of the focal points of his team for nearly 12 yrs. you tell me how many shots is he supposed to take?

But again. It's not about whether or not you think he sucks or if he's overrated. Hell I like Monta Ellis more than I like D Wade. I like Westbrook more than I like Durant. I like Rose more than I like Chris Paul. I don't care about whose better. When the time comes to acknowledge whose better then I'll do that. But all that matters is that I e enjoyed the last 17 yrs of basketball. And when he decides to hang up the Zooms it'll be a sad day for basketball for me but with the amount of talent in the league right now, I think I'll be alright.

Nah. It just means that you don't enjoy good basketball. A lot if you nikkas got a fukked up psyche. If it ain't Jordan or Lebron, then the nikka is trash or overrated.

I don't hate Kobe. I don't think he is overrated. I have my moments when I laughed and joke at the Lakers just to riled up Kobe's fans. Kobe is a legend and to me he is all-time top 15 player. He broke many scoring records, won gold medals, slam dunk contest winner, 5 time champion, scoring titles, MVP, two-time nba finals mvp, and all nba team accolades. Despite all the sh!t talking made about the Lakers and Kobe, I will never undermine Kobe's greatness and what he has done for the league.

When I bring up his attempts, it's not just because of longevity. He takes a lot of questionable shots and it's a part of his game as a volume scorer.

The problem I have is that he routinely comes up in comparisons with LeBron and Jordan, when he is much closer to Clyde Drexler and Dwyane Wade. The circumstances around him have altered and elevated his perception.

Ok, just because someone doesn't agree with you doesn't mean they have a ****** up psyche.

Good basketball? If your definition of good basketball is absolutely hi-jacking offenses late in games and relying taking a disproportionate amount of jump shots, than so be it. I see why it's appealing, but don't tell me I don't enjoy good basketball because I'm not a fan of Kobe's style.

No. My definition of good basketball is enjoying watching great players. Kobe's a great player. Clyde was a great player. Wade(even tho I'm not the biggest fan of his) is a great player. It's not me with the problem. It's you bruh. Lol

If you really believed Kobe wasn't better than Jordan, then it wouldn't bother you if Kobe stans shouted it from the rooftops. The reason ya'll nikkas are shifting the blame to Kobe stans is because ya'll are scared that it could be true. Kobe could be better than Jordan. Thats why they have so much insecurity when Kobe stans say it and its also why they have such irrational hate

I'll admit that I feel the same way about LeBron. I like LeBron personally, as corny as he is, but the main reason I hate on him is cause Bron stans try to gas him up as better than Kobe. If nikkas were stanning Melo or even Durant, who I know are clearly inferior, there is no way I would allow the stan noise to affect me. However, since I know that LeBron could be better than Kobe, I end up hating on him and shifting the blame on his stans.

Just admit the truth Kobe haters. The only reason you are bothered by what Kobe stans say is because you fear it might be true. If we were stanning Jamal Crawford instead of Kobe, I'm sure you would not hate Jamal Crawford. You would probably find the stanning comical or maybe even delusional. But there would be no hate. There would be no desire to point out every bad shooting game he has. There would be no need to harken back to the 2004 NBA finals. There would be no need to compare him at every turn to every other all-star perimeter player since 1996. Just face it Blitz, the only reason you hate Kobe is because you SUBCONSCIOUSLY fear it might be true. That Kobe just might be better than Mike. :shaq:

Came in expecting some solid fukkery and wasn't disappointed but shyt like this must be addressed.

So basically you don't take issue with the behavior or the thought process as you acknowledge that you exhibit them yourself. You only take issue with people doing it to Kobe. :heh: You are completely aware of how silly it is but you still do it for Lebron? :wtf: Beyond that you try to flip it as if nikkas look at Kobe as some sort of threat at this point of his career just to make yourself feel better. :laff: No matter what way to slice it is silly to align yourself with any person you have never met and act as if it is your duty to defend their honor or some shyt. Beyond that just because your shyt is based in Stanhood and living vicariously through other grown men doesn't mean that everyone who takes issue with Kobe is. Of course many are.

It is just funny/sad how many people are willing to come out and just be truthful after the Lakers have struggled the way they have. If these nikkas were playing as they were predicted too I am pretty sure we wouldn't have this level of transparency and attempts to change the subject. :laff: at "Why do you hate Kobe Bryant?" nikka received less hate for allegedly raping a white woman in America than Bron did for having a tv special and changing teams.

The real issue at hand is that Kobe's time as the preeminent perimeter player or player period in the L is over (it's actually been over but even his most ardent stans can't deny it at this point) and now he is truly looking like the guy that the haters have been saying he is all along and there really is no rebuttal on his behalf and now nikkas wanna change the discussion.

lets be real, niccas hate kobe's crazy arrogance man. a dude who believes in himself that much is about to make some fatherless niccas feel small. :yeshrug:
I seriously doubt that many people hate Kobe. It's the suspect fanboys like this that worship Kobe as their "gawd" that people like making fun of.
