Amare's Right Hook
Southeast World Champion
cant beat an athletic player off the ball
+Or his ability to make shots outside of the paint. Most of his shots made in clutch situations are layups, he's not great at midrange in the clutch.because those numbers have nothing to do with him choking at the FT line
Because it's a stupid stat. Not enough information. Game tying or go ahead field goal. he could be 6-6 when the game is tied and 0-8 when trying to go ahead. We need more data. It's less pressure if the game is tied.People gonna ignore this tho

but you was just quoting all his clutch jumpers in the game threadHe's not there mentally. He let's the game get to him when things aren't going his way and he's starts making dumb decisions. He loses his composure, and loses focus and of course missed 8 crucial freethrows, 2 of which could have one the game.
There has been times when Lebron was on one, like Game 7 agaisnt the Spurs but most of the time he doesn't that though closer mentally in him.

Lol. When did you fall off lebrons cock? You rode it pretty hard for years. He's a front-runner who does most of his damage when his team is up by a comfortable margin

People can't fairly judge Kobe's and LeBron's FG% in the clutch because the shots Kobe take are much higher in difficulty.

That third finals loss woke you up eh?july 2014![]()
The type of shots Kobe takes in clutch situations more closely resemble the offensive options allowed by the coverage a star player would get in a tough playoff game. Taking those easy shots in the clutch do LeBron no good because he won't get those types of easy shots against championship caliber teams and he loses confidence when he has no choice but to take that type of shot. So?
You don't get extra points for degree of difficulty. If LeBron can get a layup in the clutch shouldn't that be better than having to take contested mid-range fadeaways. Which LeBron also takes plenty of those, anyway, like the terrible shot he took at the end of regulation. Just pointing out that the argument is flawed.

i'm a heat fan. if you ain't reppin that red and black then fukk yaThat third finals loss woke you up eh?

That's just dumb. He gets good looks in playoff games. You don't remember them because they aren't asthetically pleasing. James has made as many game winners as Bryant on considerably fewer attempts. He is simply a superior player who had the misfortune of starting his career in Cleveland as opposed to Los angeles paired with shaq and Phil. The type of shots Kobe takes in clutch situations more closely resemble the offensive options allowed by the coverage a star player would get in a tough playoff game. I agree
Bron had a bad game it happens. The only thing I'll say is MJ/Kobe were $$$ at the free throw line in the cluctch. Bron has always had his struggles with that, he's always bounced back though. Don't expect it to be any different this time
