you see it on youtube -- nikkas on youtube have made a career off "angry" reviews. if you notice the negative stuff ( "I HATE _____" "_____ SUCKS!") will always have double the views than something with a positive title
you see it right here on the coli -- its always some confrontational topic that blows up. race trolling, call-outs, women hating, etc.

You said it, negativity sells. It was a hard pill to swallow, but I thought I would learn a lot more from the folks on this site, but controversial topics blow up...and even then seriously
