Why the fukk would you get financial advice from YouTube?

There’s some good financial advice on YouTube though. The problem is that as the OP said, a large amount (if not a majority) of the major black financial advice sphere revolves around grift and fraud.

If you want to learn about index funds, compound interest, savings accounts etc via video it’s probably gonna come from a white or Asian person on YouTube.

I watch PocketwatchingwithJT and almost all the financial advice from the black influencers involve some type of fraud or scam to get your credit score higher to qualify for a loan that you normally wouldn’t qualify for. And they act like loans are some type of free grant that you don’t have to pay back

I watch him too. It’s sad that so many are being misled. It’s also scary how easy it is to commit fraud
