First of all, you can count on one hand the number of "good" battles this nikka got.

So he's NOT top tier. Just coz he crazy don't make him top tier. Just coz he acts like he don't give a fukk don't make him top tier.

Why does this nikka get so many passes from fans AND the battle rap powers that be?

The culture of battle rap is decided by battle rappers.
He isn't disrespecting the culture. He is the culture... or at least a part of it.

If you don't like that... you have a decesion to make.

Day is doing more for hip hop as a whole than most artists, by exposing fakes and culture vultures.

Its not done for your own benifet. Its done so those around you can see that a person is fake.

The "culture" tolerates battle rappers showing up unprepared, unfocused, and outwardly disrespectful to some leagues. That, to me, is equal to or worse than a Daylyt antic. People get annoyed when Verb shows up and chokes, when Clips mails it in, or when Hitman can't compose a full 3 round battle... But nikkas want Daylyt banished from battle rap? Yeah, his dumb shyt is some seriously dumb shyt, no doubt, but he's not some single point of failure. Not to mention Daylyt brings out the best in everyone he faces, and everyone who hates him knows it.
