I never seen the segment. Mahomes needs to reestablish his dominance. After the SB loss all the other AFC teams are looking at the Chiefs like they can be beaten (they got a beatdown bad). And when heavy defeats happen to great teams its usually the sign that the run is over. Just look at how many close victories they had both in the regular and playoffs last year. You cannot keep going life and death every week to win a game. Takes it toll and usually ends with spectacular failure.

Best way to shut that noise is to destroy the Chargers. No one cares if Herbert/Chargers lose but if Mahomes/Chiefs lose most of the media like be the world is ending they have a SB hangover etc etc and its only week 1..

Its too late,that fear factor that makes players and coaches do stupid shyt when playing the Chiefs is over. The Chiefs will have to actually beat teams straight up from now on. Rather than crippling fear make teams beat themselves. Its like if people heard rumors that Superman lost his powers last week. These teams also are going to want payback for all these years of dominance and embarrasment,halting players legacies. Teams are out for blood,and it should be a thing of beauty to watch
