Why does Deron Williams get a free pass?

Put Deron arond the right amount of talent and his game would really shine. He's never had a young stud the caliber of a Melo or Bron or a Blake on his team. He was the reason why Utah was making some noise in the loaded West when it took 50 wins just to get in the playoffs. Got shipped to the Nets and basically forgotten about but now i think he will make the playoffs again. Even now the Nets don't have another real true star to put with him. Joe Johnson is getting older and is not what he once was so he doesn't count.

Ppl put too much stock in to him getting the Jazz to the WCF. TRhat was the easisest trip a team ever had to get to the WCF and when he get there. SA bust that ass.

He went against TMac in the first round. Nuff Said. And in that round DWill played horribly. He shot like 35% and had mad turnovers. Boozer dominate that series for all thsoe shytting on him. He had a 40 pt game in that series. and double doubles thoughout. That th eseries that made TMac cried.

And then they got the most favorable matchup in the second round agaisnt the Golden State Warriors.

Once they faced a real team, they got their asses handed to them.

I jsutr wanted to break down that WCF trip DWill had.

That's not a breakdown. That's just looking at the box scores and twisting them to suit your agenda. Plus he didn't shoot 35% in that series.

everyone was watching rondo in the playoffs. question is when have you ever watched d-will on a consistent basis? when have you watched any other team besides boston on a consistent basis? how'd you come to the conclusion every gm would choose rondo over d-will - because YOU think he's the better player? sit your dumb ass down.

DWill was not that impressive. He didnt dominate our pg's like i thought he was. He busted Yao ass and even Chuck hayes. Only big man who contained him was Mutumbo. The Jazz were deeper than us. Harpring, Fisher, Kirilenko l8er in the series were too much.

And everybody remember the Warriors series. GS gameplan feel right into Utah's advantage. No perimeter oriented team was going deep in the West. All those lucky three stop fallin against Utah and Utah just banged on them.
