All that shyt is wack too. The narrative around him being a playoff failure doesn’t help at all. Dude acted as if he was gonna play for France and did all that shyt with government officials and everything just to come play for a team that don’t need him. Wack. I think people who don't follow FIBA closely don't realize how common it is for countries to give players citizenship to play for their national team

Watching FIBA World Cup last year, they definitely needed Embiid on this team. When your bigs are Bobby Portis, Walker Kessler(who never got off the bench) and JJJ(who couldn’t grab a rebound), you have big problems
