Why does everyone hate on Ice Cubes lethal injection album?

Why do people hate on this album? I thought the album was pretty solid to be honest. I mean it doesn't compare to the other albums, but it's not like the shyt was whack.

Cause he's not from the east coast.

If he was,it would get illmatic like props,being that it's better than illmatic,36 chambers,ob4cl etc

It got hate because of the white bashing and the fact that He came out after Snoop whom shyt shyt down during that late part of 93...Plus hip hop started to mellow out and wasn't as angry and wanted to more party more which Death Row perfectly supplied.

Plus it was his last FOI affiliated album and we all know how the industry feels about that type of shyt so you had CAC writers writing unfavorable reviews about it. Especially around the time where being militant wasn't the trend.

Dope album. I remember being let down at first cuz it wasn't AMW or DC. But nikkas gotta "grow" and be "artists" though....or go with the sound that's poppin...

It worked though.

On its own merit, it's classic and probably the last great Cube album.

Lethal injection wakk as hell, easily the worst of cubes 4 solo joints in the early 90’s

The only track I fukked with was lil ass gee and this album had the trash version the remix that was used for the video was the dope version

shyt was just aiiight... Cube wasn't expected to make aiiight shyt.

Probably the Cube album with the most filler up to that point, seemed to be wave-riding like shyt, he had his moments on here tho'. Songs like 'Ghetto Bird', 'Enemy', 'Cave bytch', 'What Can I Do' showed he still had it... but this album was kinda all over the place otherwise. And 'Bop Gun' was the worst thing ever to me when it dropped Love George's shyt, but Cube doin' it was such an obvious Death Row dikkride, I couldn't get jiggy wit' that shyt.
