Allergies are a results of autoimmune problems. This usually stems from poor diets that consist of GMO foods (corn products are a big one) and nasty dairy, exposure to other chemicals. . . I have no allergies though.:smug:

They had allergies back then. They just had no way to treat them so the person usually ended up dying in childhood. Only the strong lived long enough to have children.

This is somewhat true. You have to take into account we eat WAY MORE simple carbohydrates then people ever did, and don't get enough deep sleep due to light always being around us at night, so our immune system is weaker because simple sugars get your immune system going, but if you don't eat enough monounsaturated fat, and protein, as well as deep rest, to help rebuild what was lost, it will eventually become weaker which means things can attack your body much easier.

My colds have gone away completely after gulping down honey or drinking tea with a good amount of honey mixed into it.

Try not to heat the honey or use very low heat, around the 90 degree or lower temperature range, because when you heat fructose it turns to a potentially toxic substance called hydroxymethylfurfural. It may not be as bad for humans as it is for bees and rats but try to keep it low in the body.

Overabundance and ingestion of unnatural food and chemicals.

this...

don't confuse those pill commercials for real issues though, thats just pharmaceutical companies using advertisement deregulation to its advantage.

I refuse to believe that there is a real disease called "restless leg syndrome".

Seriously, it's gotta be something changing in the environment, or something humans have caused.

Older people like ur grandparents ages werent suffering back then with chronic allergies like we see today. The older people in my family werent popping an allergy pill everyday. But you go to the store now, or turn on the TV and all you see is Claritin, Zyrtec, Allegra, Benadryl commericials & products, Flo-nase and all other types of nasal spray.

But if you don't take those, you can develop sinus infections or just feel like shyt in general b/c of allergens. And it's year round now, not just seasonal

It is the food, pesticide, herbicide, insecticide, fungicide laden modern food, which is really poison. GMO is another issue.

Babies are being born primarily through c sections not vaginal as it was designed.

Ultra sterile modern environments, we need exposure to dirt to get the good probiotics. Search leaky gut.

Ubiquity of plastics is another culprit.

Pollution of course; tailpipe exhausts from cars alone produce close to 80 pollutants such NOx, VOC's, particulate matter. ozone depletion.

it is a mess frankly, I'm surprised we all aren't dead by now, its coming though.

Anyone planning to have kids in this despoiled and soon to be destroyed earth is woefully uninformed. We headed down a cliff edge.

@Moich

It does seem to be getting worse.

Yes.

As it should be considering chemical and poison ocean we are wading through everyday and unnatural modern lifestyles.

Remember there is a lag too in our bodies immune responses, epigenetics will insure even if we clean up our act now future generations will still be born with allergies.

Same with climate change, if we all stop polluting now, climate changing will still continue because of the carbon and other gases trapped in the atmosphere.

This. I attribute my previous allergies to a poor diet. Once I made changes (cutting back dairy, corn products, fried foods), I noticed a reduction in inflammation and allergies.
