I think Snoop in this weird way has changed, yet hasn't and that's what allows him to get a pass.
Snoop ain't smiling like Bun B in that Colgate commercial, but Snoop could do a Colgate commercial and get away with it.
The tone of his would be different tho. Cliche shyt with low-riders and "drop it like its hot" playing in the background.
Snoop has become almost a caricature of his former self.
Its like snoop was looked at(key words looked at) as a la gangbanging pot-smoking rapper.
He still is looked at that way, but for some reason white people love him for it now
To me that's what I mean by a caricature.
That rap profile is as cliche as a NY/East Coast gangster rapper from any of the boroughs.

The closet to Snoop on the east I can think of would be 50 cent.
He got some more real cred than Snoop, but 50 is loved by the mainstream for being that "gangster rapper who was shot 9 times"

That's The Coli definition of it. c00ning is when someone shucks and jives reinforcing negative stereotypes of a race, culture in an attempt to gain the approval of white folk.

Selling out is a loose term. On here it's whenever an artist does something posters don't like. Selling out isn't based on perception. It's when someone goes against their own morals or integrity for success.
