Amongst black people?

Like i think about it and its depressing. Amongst every other race of people the best and brightest are held in the highest regard...when it comes to blacl folks our best qnd brightest are ridiculed, tormented, ostracized for not being "black enough" because i guess intellectualism is something that black folks dont possess, and basically led to be loners and outcasts.

shyt...even look at how damn near every nikka jocking basquiat now cause jay z mentioned him in a verse...guaranteed that dude did not have any sort of black fanbase or following when he was alive. It makes me smh and just at the same time. It usually takes outsiders before black folks recognize greatness amongst our own outside of sports and entertainment and frankly im fukking sick of it.

More black people strive to have money and shyt on everybody else when they make it, rather than strive for intelligence and use it to improve society.

I don't do the usual "black people don't own nothing cuz black people aint shyt" kinda stuff but thats what Ive observed in my short life. On the bright side the amount of black kids succeeding academically is like at its highest.

Maybe this generation of youth will be better than the last.

Im absolutely sick and tired of society thinking cause of sports that all us black men are good for is dribbling basketballs, scoring touchdowns, and just strength and speed and not our minds and intellects. Like we're jist supposed to be big burly and stupid. And if you're not even in that your a failure or less of a black man or something. I dont know...ever since i went into business with my clothing i realize the uphill climb black people have to go through as creatives and at times it felt so disheartening i felt like quitting but fukk that...if my moves allow for the next generation of black men and women to feel like they can display their creative sides and make waves so be it.

All our lives from elementary through HS(and after) we are shytted on by our own kind if we strive to do good. nikkas really act like you aint "real" or whatever because you're intelligent. You get older and see that there are actually women out there that love nothing but dumb, ignorant ass nikkas. Its all kinda mind boggling.
Til this day when I'm being productive there's nikkas that question it like "why you be building shyt all the time". "Oh you one of those smart nikkas". It's crazy what we go through from our own kind

This society is artificial and designed to help the ends of others, and it's designers have defined "genius" according to being able to best be an asset to those ends. And I think although melanoid people are spiritually asleep, we still have an essence where we recognize the difference between what's real and what's bullshyt on a core level. And if you look at what we shun vs what we embrace, there's a running pattern to that effect.

This is actually a BIG problem amongst us. I know for a fact that smart young kids hide and suppress their intelligence to appear more "hood" and"street". This happens often. A shift in our culture is needed. Ive said it time after time, but intelligence and education must become the new "cool". This is one of those topics that nobody wants to acknowledge.

Its nice to see this generation of black youths embrace education and being smart. I grew up in the 90s where sadly being smart and educated and wanting to do well in school as a black persom saw you as "wanting to be white".
