so youre telling me that the 40/40 club is not a hip-hop club. they mostly play pop music, and play the same songs every 2 hours?

jay obviously didnt have much respect for prodigy on the battle tip at least. or maybe he realized that prodigy was washed, the same way he thought nas was washed at the time.

and what grudge would jay hold towards prodigy? jay has been un-deservingly credited for mobb deep's fall off for well over a decade now. meanwhile, everybody done already gave a list of reasons why he could still be bitter towards cam.

does jay like cam's music? who knows. but if he doesnt, then thats even more reason to get mad, when you look up and see cam getting saluted all the time, especially seeing that cam didnt have to do all the sucka chit that jay did. its like you know a dude like triple h prolly hates rob van dam.

might be a hiphop club but is it really...seems like an overpriced place whos demographic probably aint just hardcore hiphop fans...id assume they play popular current hiphop and rnb and recent popular shyt....I doubt they playin "Round Here" by Bleek or "don't stop wont stop" by young gunz either...just like any upscale mixed club they probably play hiphop songs everybody know cuz its hot and new or it was huge,casual listener shyt,mixed wit rnb and pop shyt...and its possible they play the same shyt 2 hrs,i don't think its a club all day long where anybody would notice....and if Cam aint there for 24 hrs how the hell he know his music aint getting played

ANd prodigy was way more disrespectful than Cam imo,on record,off record.....Cam was basically a roasting session where he cracked jokes and called Jay old,ugly,dissed his fashion and sum other shyt...Nas was more disrespectful and it got squashed for business I know...But If Jay run into Cam its a good chance he would shake hands with that man and laugh about that bullshyt....crazy thing is Cam would probably reject it off the fact I think it would hurt him more to know Jay aint been trippin this whole time...I honestly think it will make Cam happier to believe Jay is actively tryna blackball em and not play his records.

I think "throwing monkey wrenches" is a matter of opinion. What I remember was one of the biggest complaints they had with Jay, was that he was going on a tour, and included everyone on the ROC except them. Not sure how you can blame him for that. You know there's tension there. And you think he's gonna invite you on tour? Dame brought them to the ROC. They should have been depending on him for that type of stuff.

that was just ONE complaint, and a dam good one. but thats not even what i was referring to when i was talking about monkey wrenches.

and for the record, dame did have them on tour. they were on the roc army tour until jay pulled everybody off of it and put them on the "roc da mic" tour. everybody except dipset.

it all came back to bite jay in the ass at the end of the day tho.
