Exactly there was nothing flat about it. She was singing it an octave lower, that's why it might sound off.
No knowledge to drop really... she can't sing but she's pretty cool with everybody in the industry & is easy to work with so people still help her...if she was a bytch her career would've died with TG4...

You couldn't tell by how that song 'The Worst' sounds like someone cut and pasted individual vocal sounds together on top of a better produced track? That song grated on me the first time I heard it, the same way Cassie's 'Me+You' did. It just sounds wrong, like non-euclidean architecture wrong or Uncanny Valley wrong. It sounds like if Siri were programmed to sing, having no organic lung capacity or voicebox itself; some straight future Vocoloid/Idoru shyt. But the corporate radio djs out here love it. I can't. I want real singers back who are signed because they can sing, not because they will look pretty in the video.
No going back to that time, though.

J. Lo couldn't sing (and still can't, with that embarassing 'I Luh Yah, Papi' mess out), but she could dance like a motherfukker -- which would make .Lo a sufferer of the Paula Abdul effect.
And Madonna could never sing, either. She found a voice, but it took decades and she's still blown out of the water by people with actual talent. Who else is non-talented but pushed on the public?
Has that blind about the 'singer' who's real job is spreading her legs for her producer boyfriend's clients in order to 'seal the deal', been officially revealed to be Cassie and Diddy, or not?
