that's his lane, everyone can't rap about their plug, moving weight and shooting nikkas. i don't listen to much of his shyt but you have to appreciate diversity in hip hop
It gets repetitive, I've come to accept it. His discography revolves around breakups or depression or what hip hop used to be or depression caused by breakups type tracks
lol well it's a common theme throughout music in general, coping with ourselves, relationships with ourselves, and others...that really gets straight to the heart of our lives, it's not crying over some bytch, Budden exposes his flaws and his weaknesses, failures as a person and invites us to watch...and the ones that relate are drawn to the music...it's his vulnerability that makes him an amazing artist...
