Why does Jordan get points for 'accomplishing' playing in the NCAA, as oppose to Bron?

someone has to explain this fukkin narrative to me, because i don't understand

bron went in straight outta HS, and won nothing. jordan couldnt deal with that, so he went to college instead. and accomplished nothing in the NBA from 18-20

why do dudes count this against bron in the argument :what:
:francis: Only three players came out of high school before MJ was drafted and the next one wasn't until Kevin Garnett thread needs to be thrown in the bushes.

Smh exactly what I said. It's hard to have a good logical discussion about mj with most fans because there is so much nostalgia attached to him people block out times when he lost
Would you say MJ is overrated :jbhmm:if so then give a breakdown. The titles are a team thing but let's talk about MJ the basketball player

It's the same argument with the Jordan was undefeated in the finals. Some how since mj didn't make it to the finals n lose in the first 6-7 years of his career LeBron gets penalized.

It's like people would rather Bron get bounced in the 2nd round like Jordan was doing then go to the finals in lose. I'm not saying LeBron should higher then Mike because of it but he shouldn't be penalized. Shyts crazy.

BRON WAS GETTING BOUNCED IN THE 2ND ROUND.

ITS NOT THE SAME ARGUMENT....

BRON LOST AS THE NUMBER ONE SEED IN THE ECF AND THE 2ND ROUND
2 YEARS IN A ROW.

THE ONLY TIME BRON TOOK A BUM TEAM TO THE FINALS IS 07.

HES BEEN ON THE BEST TEAMS IN THE EAST THE LAST 6 YEARS....

SO EVEN IF YOU STANS TAKE AWAY 2007
HES STILL 3-3 IN THE FINALS.

YOU nikkaS IN HERE TALKING LIKE BRON
WAS ROUTINELY MAKING THE FINALS
BEFORE HE BUILT A SUPERTEAM.

04- NO PLAYOFFS
05- NO PLAYOFFS
06 - 2nd ROUND
07- FLUKE FINALS
08- 2nd ROUND
09- ECF
2010- 2nd ROUND

2011-2016 THE MOST STACKED TEAMS IN THE EAST...

3-3 FINALS

I believe MJ will always be the goat but this is just idiotic:snoop:

Why breh ? Homie is basically asking why couldnt MJ make the leap straight to the pros like Bron did, well because it wasn't the normal thing to do back then. But since MJ had to to attend college, he gets props for winning a title while being there, simple as that.

Ravens. Lakers. Canon. Fuji.
Lebron closed the gap a smidge this year, but that gap still very much exists. Both their careers are deep enough that it's a disservice to pull the first 3 years as a basis of argument. Lebron still has tons of time to write his narrative, and that counts for something; but I can't cash a future dated check. Mike was and is money in the bank.

Jordan wouldn't have been able to make the leap from high school to the pros anyway, regardless of it not being the "normal thing" to do. He needed those college years to develop. LeBron James was the most heralded high school player since Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, if not all time.

Detroit made it back to the conference finals the next year too :dahell:

Edit: 59 wins, second in basketball only to Boston, and they were 4th in defensive rating while 6th in offensive rating. They did play the slowest pace in basketball.

How many times were bron's teams either first in the east or favored to win the title? Now how many times did he lose?

Thats what bron gets penalized for. 60+ win, #1 seed cavs teams not even making the finals and stacked and favored heat teams getting embarrassed in the finals. Thats why he's penalized.

Jordan always went to the finals and won as a #1 seed or 60 win team when the bulls were expected to win. Apples to apples Jordan never failed in the same situation.

Come on fam. Look at where the cavs were before lebron and after. You don't think he would've led the Buckeyes to a chip? Bron was clearly ahead of Jordan at that point. But after the gawd Dean Smith coached him up,MJ would go on to be the goat. And I don't see Bron catching him.
