Over saturation. If I was Kevin, I wouldn’t give a damn, it would be all about getting the bag. But yeah, once a celebrity is overexposed, people are naturally going to get tired of them.

Chappelle drops a special and then disappears for a while and then comes
Back unexpectedly. Of course he’s at a different point in his career than Kevin but during his Chappelle Show peak, he wasn’t being shoved down our throats every second. He’s big foot status at this point which is what every celebrity should want.

To be fair, most people are singing his praises for True Story. I feel his acting has taken precedence over his stand up (which has really fallen off) but I respect his hustle.
