The elephant in the room.... not even just hip hop. Regular black people even call other races nikka "that white nikka" gets said frequently. nikka is basically a used to describe anyone. People say it so much it just rolls off their tongue automatically when talking about people. the other day at work one of my coworkers was talking about our supervisor (who's Ecuadorian) and says "that nikka crazy" within earshot. Now what If our supervisor decided to use the word nikka one day since he was called one. Black people throw the word around with recklessly. But then you have the whole with an A vs ER argument.
My grandmother (who definitely wasn't influenced by hip hop) used to say nikka all the time but never around anyone that wasn't black.
