Why does Lebron refuse to go to a ball movement-heavy offense?

STAT PADDING AS HE HIDES BEHIND AN ALPHA SCORER..BEEN THE STORY SINCE HE WENT TO MIAMI
Nope. He has hit clutch shots and made clutch defensive plays. He is he main ingredient to all seven finals appearances. Hes been the best player on every team he's been on since he hit the league. He's won series without main contributors. He's taken over elimination games in the eastern finals and finals.

"alpha scorer" :mjlol: Where do you guys get these terms from? He had multiple 30 ppg seasons and a scoring title before Miami. He was shyt in the 2011 finals. He has been really good-legendary in every finals since

Like has already been said, he'd have to sacrifice his touches and numbers to play that way and he hasn't shown any interest in that since he went back to Cleveland. For how high is BBIQ is, it's strange how poorly he plays off the ball.

He could have more energy on defense too if he allowed a different offensive system too, plus the team would be a lot better with him off the court.

plat thread
All the points have been made

This is why the "Lebron has no help:damn:" "There's only so much he can do:damn:" "Look at his stats:damn:" arguments have no bearing

It's basically him and another perimeter player (Kyrie, Wade) going one on one all game as everyone else watches.

You can give bron a prime Tim Duncan and he'll turn him into a spot up shooter:heh:

I don't know if he would actually give a shyt about his stats taking a hit...But that's not his game :yeshrug:.... He's been very successful tailoring teams and teammates to cater to his playstyle...It kinda is what it is... He's like a 6'8 more efficient Russell Westbrook with a better team around him... His teams inevitably become less than the sum of it's parts (guys like bosh and love end up with a fraction of their normal impact) but he's had stacked enough teams and individually great enough to where it ultimately doesn't matter sometimes ... To me it's only an issue when we start getting the ":sadbron: poor LeBron has to do everything...He needs more help" shyt pops up EVERY time he loses... Especially when he's damn near handpicked his revolving door of allstars and Bron ball shooters to play with for like the entirety of his prime and killed coaches that wanted to implement a more modern motion based offense to bring puppets in... It can't be both ways

Bron Stans would hate playing on a team with Bron irl. That's the ironic shyt about it. Imagine you D1 or whatever and the player on your squad dominates the ball for 20 seconds every play, drives in to score and only passes to you if he can't get a shot off. You just sitting on the three waiting around doing nothing :dahell: and when you get the rock you got 4 seconds to make a hurried shot before the buzzer goes off.

If you a point guard you'd hate it because LeBron is taking away your responsibilities as facilitator. If you're a big man you'd hate it because his style of play is forcing you to play by the three and he's trying to take over as the main team rebounder too. If you're a shooting guard you'd hate it because your ass definitely ain't shooting :mjlol: Atleast Kobe & Jordan let their point guards play point guard. They gave their big men space to play in the post. Everybody got touches because Jordan/Kobe played off the ball. If LeBron played on the Bulls instead of Jordan, he'd be stealing assists from Harper & Pippen who typically facilitated the offense and he'd be jumping over Rodman to steal rebounds from him to get that triple double :dead: Rodman would be way outside the arc guarding Reggie Miller somewhere so Bron could drive even though his strength was in rebounding and post play. All those nikkas talents would be neutralized so Bron could get his pretty triple doubles.

12 straight double doubles but lost 5 of last 7 huh? These arent supposed to go together
Triple double in a loss?

Empty Stats :camby:

The success of Simmons and Embiid in a motion-heavy offense should make it a more enticing play style for him moving forward in his career. Sixers pass more than any team in the league by a solid margin but they still get theirs.
For now

Because he institutionlized in iso ball. It's not his fault, most of his HS ball and his whole career he's had to have the ball in his hands. They moved the ball alot in Miami then he went back to play with kyrie and nikka relapsed

That's one reason and he is usually the best facilitator on his team's so he gotta have the ball
