Why Does Madden Get Shyt on But 2k Gets a Pass?

What it needs to please the fans...

A lobby w/ spectator mode...I mean we have twitch though so this might not be necessary.

An online playoffs mode w/ just creating a finals w/ an online opponent or a full 16 teams.

@Tha Gawd Amen & @B86 How cool would it be to talk shyt and istead of having to play your own "first to 4" series, you could have it set up complete w/ stat tracking & changes in arena while you do the series. Imagine if you put the clamps on my Melo in games 1 & 2 and the announcers are like, "Well, we are going to see what melo does in this series, Charlotte has really kept him contained offensively. Either he is going to have to erupt or start contributing in other facets of the game on the court.

Their beta process should be done both off & online with players who both play sim & play cheesy. Find out the exploitation & then fix them before release. If the games are averaging 20 blocks per team a game... tweak. (Currently, I almost cannot make a free throw w/ Melo, but Stat, I am shooting round 80 % per game, wierd)

Stop promising shyt that never actualizes. Remember they said performance will be tracked? SO how the players are playing during the season will affect their performance online... Never noticed shyt

Lobbies definitely need to come back. HOF lobby on 2k11 is how you weeded out many of the cheesers

Why does VC have to be in everything I fukked with Association heavy in past 2k's and can't even do that shyt anymore.

I'd like for the beta to be public but I already told you how they do that shyt.

They gonna get the big YouTubers to come over and play the game. They will hype said game with a bunch of cryptic ass tweets and random videos about saying how this is the best 2k ever, and not reveal the flaws until the the game actually comes out. 8 people who are being paid to play MyPlayer mode who average 50pts 15 boards and 4 assists shouldn't be the beta testers that relay information back to 2k on how simulation basketball is supposed to run.

@ that performance tracking promise. They update the stats for a nikka that appeared on the ESPN top 10 plays or some shyt a week after the fact.

With a whole bunch of simulation style players...and a tweaked & efficient 2k...Association would be the GOAT gaming experience.

They replaced it with MyGM. You roleplay a GM with cutscenes and shyt and have to spend VC to do things such as make line-up changes or to calm a player down.

I wasn't feelin how they messed up MyPlayer in 12 & never was convinced to give 13 & 14 even a try

To answer the thread. Because even with all of its faults. People are still entertained by 2k and it's still fun to play.

Madden is just dry. And it's been using the se animations for 10years. 2k5 tackling is still better than madden 25

I just want 2k to create an algorithm to better pick online ranked matches. I'm pretty sure this is the most played feature

It's mainly in how each got their monopoly.

NBA2k_ got here by being the better game and beating Live heads up. Live fell way the fukk off while 2k kept getting progressively better. Once Live quit, 2K has gotten bloated and now focuses solely on monetization and less on core gameplay.

Madden got here not by being better, but by purchasing the license. So, they didn't win on being the better game, they won a straight money move. Gamers still will always have the "what if?" question to wonder if 2k would have been better like they did in basketball. Or, at the very least would they have pushed Madden to be a better game?

So even though both games are getting bloated and flabby, gamers still view 2k as earning their spot and not seeing a viable competitor and still view Madden as dikkheads and wishing a competitor got a chance.

Then the game dropped, and all the issues were popping up, and ALL OF A SUDDEN everyone seemed to have a problem with MyGM, and all the rest of their bullshyt (DRM & VC at the forefront).

2K basically ruined the game for me (I'm a single player player...I don't have time for all of the shenanigans online seems to bring), and I vowed months ago not to purchase 2K15, and I won't. They're not getting another dime from me until they fix some of this shyt (again, DRM & VC at the forefront). Of course that will probably be never, cause we all know that VC isn't going anywhere, despite the widespread anger that occurred after Next Gen launched.

I remember seeing you on OS complaining, cause I was doing the same. I knew something was wrong because they were releasing no info at all before the game dropped. Then when they'd release some they would straight dodge any questions that they knew fans didn't want to hear. The only mode I play is online associations which were just flat out broke in this year's game. I would ask the devs and Ronnie2K and LD2K if they have been addressed to complete silence. I'm out on 2K15. I only ended up getting 2K14 once it went on sale for current gen for 30. I bought it for PS4 just cause I had bought a next gen system and wanted something to play on it. Ended up selling that back.
