NYS has a big Hispanic pop behind white & black plus just like there's a black cultural background in NYC the same could be said about Hispanics throughout Syracuse, Buffalo & Rochester areas.

Of course, a place like Iowa could care less about Puerto Rico, what's the demographics for Iowa anyways .

Yeah, I got you. Because, NYC is the unofficial capital of the U.S. I would expect the governor/Mayor of New York/City would have more relevance.
