Kayfabe.
Because he stays in character 24/7. He's actually delusional.
Biggie wasn't giving no interviews pretending to be Frank White.
^^^^^
This is why he's ridiculous.

Because where those rappers might have thrown in a few fictional lines....
Rick Ross whole career is a fairy tale, from his name to his whole Boss persona. Dude has dropped like 6 + albums but yet I feel like I don't know shyt about William Roberts

You really think Big who was an MC, street corner hustler, and stick up kid coulda been fukking with Peruvians? It was just a slick line to build up that Frank White persona. Same for all these nikkas. They weren't shooting there way outta Bennigans with some Dominicans, or fukking with Colombians. These nikkas sold crack and rappedhow do you know this didnt happen? and tbh some of the other lines you quoted too
Exactly. He is the top entertainer in hip-hop and has been for a while. I fukk with him in the same way I fukk with Razor Ramon or Stone Cold Steve Austin. I don't get people that have real animus toward him. He makes pretty good music. Just enjoy the show. This is why I fukk with Ross. Nikka is entertaining as fukk.

Not really. Everyone who came in contact with him said Biggie was always humble and if you watch his last few interviews ever he comes off mad normal and regular. He does get ridiculous with the tales tho Im not even gonna lie. I just wanted know why these other dudes get a pass. For real tho Biggie was starting to shift to that Frank White mode 24/7. Who knows what woulda happened had he stayed alive
Not all Ross songs are about his kingpin tales lol. Dude does stay in character tho. shyt is too funnyYou can post lines from a bunch of rappers as a counterpoint. That's easy. They paved the way. But all those rappers you listed have songs on a lot of subjects.
Now a real challenge is post lines from Ross that aren't![]()
That's my whole point. The Wu all had mob aliases and tales about being front row at the MGM. Even Special Ed was talking about how good he had it I Got It Made when he was prolly broke as fukk at the time. I admit Ross is over the top with it but over the past decade he's prolly been the most consistently entertaining rapper. If woulda just said yea so what I was a co and left it at that our whole perception on him would change. But really im too old to be worried about how a rapper really lives. With all the bullshyt coming out these days just give me good musicMost of what rappers talk about is 90% bullshyt. They rap about what their fan base can relate to. In the boom bap era it was the streets. In this era, its clubs, women, and a little drugs sprinkled in. Everybody is about the hustle. Hustling in whatever you do.
I think if Ross would've openly talked about being a CO from jump it wouldn't have been a big deal. He could've flipped it into a positive. But at the end of the day, if you making good music, people don't give a shyt.
Oh yea you could tell Big was a regular cool dude. That whole Big Poppa Frank White image was all Puff influenceNot really. Everyone who came in contact with him said Biggie was always humble and if you watch his last few interviews ever he comes off mad normal and regular.
