Hope they don't pull this stunt in anymore movies going forward.

Because the movie was almost entirely created to recreate the feelings of nostalgia you got from watching the original trilogy.

Star Wars is science fantasy, the technology isn't the focus and the Star Wars aesthetic is iconic. Why the fukk would they change it?

The OP thinks Rogue One which was SET Right before the events of the first Star Wars Episode 4 is supposed to Look MORE futuristic on the already established timeline... :mjlol:

EDITED TO ADD: the filmmakers imperative was to make it look like that was keeping it in line with the timeline in the star wars saga, you know NOT fukking up the continuity??? :bryan:
