A lot of people that die from HCM are athletes that are in their teens-early 20's. A few years ago we came back to work from 4th of July weekend to find out one of my team members had died. She was only 26. Used to run marathons and shyt. Her mom died the same way at 37.

After she told me about her mom I asked her if she had any tests done on her cuz that HCM is no joke and is hereditary. There's been stories of entire families getting taken out by it. She said she had tests done and everything was Gucci, but her doctor was still keeping an eye on her. A few months later, she was dead .
