Nah, it LITERALLY happened. She let two apartheid CACs run a train on her at the height of apartheid IN SOUTH AFRICA....

The reason I even made this thread is because last year South Carolina declared January 17th a state wide holiday and named it "Eartha Kitt Day". What exactly did she accomplish to earn this? Herbie Hancock inspired an entire genre (japanese jazz fusion and city pop) yet he gets no holiady? Meanwhile an apartheid and Rhodesia supporter gets a whole holiday? Nasty work. Btw, black women were all over twitter celebrating this Eartha Kitt day which is why i made the thread.
