It’s due to the blending of cultures and it being 2022. People unfortunately are too close to see what’s happening especially in this forum. People want to apply the same rules of back in my day and what I learned growing up as if it’s specifically applicable to today. Most people can’t contextualize events so they are befuddled when this happens when it was bound to happen. This generation grew up on and are marketed/exposed to the same stuff regardless of color. This generation gets a lot of info but fail similar to ours to understand nuance or context so it runs amok and spreads faster thanks to technology.

I’m not saying the information and talking points are right. They are absolute garbage and being pushed from bad actors but the confusion on how this happened is easy to explain.
