Only thing that sucks about reddit is that the comment sections in a lot of subs is everybody trying to say things to get the most upvotes or post internet or reddit-specific joke callbacks that go on for 52 comments. However it depends on the post because you can have some enlightening/interesting conversations in those same comment sections

I always found the front page of the internet slogan self-aggrandising and so have never made an account as a matter of principle, but there are so many useful (and other) subs. Different ones come up in plenty of my Google searches. r/UKPersonalFinance in particular has been a gamechanger. I think CTH was my favourite until it got banned (Hexbear isn't the same).

And pun runs are the worst.

Reddit allows me to interact with white people from all walks of life, and obtain knowledge from them that I may not otherwise be able to, without actually having to interact with them. All the knowledge without the high pitched nasally voices, judgemental squinted eyes, and body odor.

The layout on reddit on a computer is confusing as fukk but I downloaded the app and it’s much easier. I use it for information. I never posted on it though and I rarely read the comments. The top posts are usually insanely corny jokes that the majority of the people find funny but it’s because it’s white humor. It’s mostly gay ass dad jokes or play on words.
