That has to do with hiphop and is not indicative of my city. Hiphop wants that kind of catchy stuff but if hiphop returns to place where lyricist matter NYC will still be at the top because we have a lot of lyricist here ready and make no mistakes about it. We have to play the game fam, I'm happy she got a number 1 indeed because she came up from the stripper club to the world stage and I can't be mad at her. She was dancing for 1's at the club just five years ago and now she is making big money and can support her family, as ghetto as ever and proud of who she is. She did her thing and played the game very well. We have more lyrical artist but many of them will be broke or only have cult followings because real lyricism isn't popular. With that said it's not indicative of my city because if hiphop was accepting of better my city would offer better but the mainstream only accepts the current trend.
