nikkas be biased about their regions too. Ive seen nikkas from the Bay hate on NY shyt but love some Mac Dre shytNY had the best rappers overall in hip hop history.
I never had any issue ny.
I think people may dislike NY cause they think there second tier or lower tier rappers get the royal treatment just cause they from NY.
They look at a mozzy or a rapper from Detroit or new Orleans and feel they dont get the recognition they deserve.
That what I've heard from people that don't like NY.
Every region, city, country bit that Blood/Crip shyt off LA though. That's not NY specific.Isnt that fakkit takashi a blood??.......yeah you know where that started....looking for co signs from the west...
...NY fell off so bad....
Bruh the West had alot of good acts at the time and they were being played locally along side the east coast stuff and down south shyt we use to hear out West....in the 90's LA radio was at its peak as everyone got play....that's why when west coast rappers and southern rappers would head out to NY and wonder why their shyt wasn't be played?...I do agree with this. Being only 3 hours from NY my only exposure to other regions came from magazines and music videos up until the Chronic dropped. Our radio was almost all NY. You gotta remember tho that back then DJs were the ones who decided what got played on the radio. So of course NY DJs were gonna play NY shyt since soooooooo much dope music was coming from there. Not as many acts were coming from other regions
NY bit that shyt hard though bruh....I was a kid in BK in the 80's and wasn't no shyt like that....I go back home every year and nikkaz be colored the fukk up....Every region, city, country bit that Blood/Crip shyt off LA though. That's not NY specific.
NY Bloods and Crips have they own history and own sets and have been around for damn near 25 years.Isnt that fakkit takashi a blood??.......yeah you know where that started....looking for co signs from the west...

Oh trust, I know, but every place bit that Cali shyt hard. NY rappers might flash it more but it's big everywhere. Jersey is actually much worse than NY when it comes to that LA/Cali shyt. A lot of NY based Bloods and Crips have no Cali ties. Damn near all the gangs from Jersey are direct descendants from Cali gangs.NY bit that shyt hard though bruh....I was a kid in BK in the 80's and wasn't no shyt like that....I go back home every year and nikkaz be colored the fukk up....
Please.....NY Bloods and Crips have they own history and own sets and have been around for damn near 25 years.
Bloods and Crips are everywhere now gangs are fraternal for street nikkas.
By the mid 90s everything was played over here. Ill give the Chronic credit for that but the Chronic was the album that helped destroy regionalism in hip hop. Outkast helped too. The only reason I copped that album was becuz the Source (an NY publication) gave it 4 1/2 micsBruh the West had alot of good acts at the time and they were being played locally along side the east coast stuff and down south shyt we use to hear out West....in the 90's LA radio was at its peak as everyone got play....that's why when west coast rappers and southern rappers would head out to NY and wonder why their shyt wasn't be played?...
I'll just say this bruh...I know the Cali blood sets have influence in NY and have been for a while....but you are 100 about Jersey....Oh trust, I know, but every place bit that Cali shyt hard.
