It’s true though you’d be unable to create a seal

But the reality is the military is breaking you down so you can serve. So that’s the true reason. Same reason they shave your head at bootcamp.

Fair. Thing is, I didn't have a beard. I used to get real bad razor burn/bumps so I couldn't cut my hair super close.

It was more boyscout and a compliance thing rather than practicality is what I got from it. They mentioned getting a shaving profile, but even as nestle crunch my face looked, they acted like they didn't want to give me one.

Wild shyt is I know how to shave with a razor now, my shyt smooth as butter.
