Why does the UFC keep having rigged winners?

Macey Barber LOST to Lee, but the judges gave the fight to Barber (because she's more popular and it's a better business decision).

This is like the 2nd or 3rd time I've seen the judges pull that foolery recently. I hope none of you "I like MMA more, because it's not rigged like Pro Wrestling" people still saying that in 2023 (obviously I'm speaking in hyperbole, but it's starting to get sickening).

Still though I don't like Maycee Barber she claimed she got a black belt in a few months through the Gracie combatives online service then when the community called all of them out she said oh no I was wearing a karate black belt but then after more research she was a teaching jiu jitsu claiming she was a black belt.

Also her karate background is shady because her dad was her instructor the whole time

Wasn't till a few fights ago she started training with team alpha male.

Something is shady about her.

Props to both of those fighter they laid it all on the line.

I have to say that was not a robbery. Rd 1 Lee came out very timid. When she got the take down she didn't really do much with it. 2nd round went the same way. Meanwhile Maycee Barber was very effective with her striking. Wow this girl has come a long way from punching at air. In the 3rd she hits Lee with her left leg then her right leg like a freakin pinball machine.

It's really cool how Urijah Faber is helping her sharpen up but at the same time let her keep her style

Sorry bro no robbery seen here. I will say Barber really needs to improve her ground game if she wants to be champ and it looks like shes with the right team

The paddy one was an actual robbery, MMA judges have been terrible and many times upopular guys would pick up bad decisions wins for lay & pray grappling.

Like I'd be inclined to agree if Jon Fitch's career didnt exist. Fans and the organization hated him but kept getting the nod by judges. The moment he lost to a non champion (via finish iirc) the promotion got him outta here on the first thing smoking.

This is all to say that it looks more egregious in these cases when a more popular fighter gets a bad decision but it happens the other way around too so the problem moreover is these judges just regularly score fights stupidly. Boxing judges on the other hand have been caught taking bribes

Even in the Molly McCann vs Erin Blanchfield fight, the commentary team was talking only about Molly, because she's Paddy's buddy, then when she got wrecked they changed their tune.

O'Malley lost to Yan, got the judges' decision.

Maycee has been a beneficiary of that, and that fight was a clear indicator. Lee doesn't dominate anyone, but she clearly won that fight. But with their pet projects, you have to take them completely out to win.
