They never outright say they wrote it word for word, but nic was one of his standup writers. You listen to enough Patrice clips and nic diapolo pops up. You argue with enough white people, that argument comes up.

:stopitslime:Chris said he got the idea from an Ice Cube song called “Us” off the Death Certificate album. It took him a year of performing that bit to get it right.

You want to give that credit to racist ass Nick?

Stop spreading misinformation.

For the 50th time, Chris Rock doesn’t use ghost writers for his stand up. He does get “tags” from comedians as do all comedians.

He had people write for his HBO show.

They literally would do the same set word for word after Chris to get different deliveries and get more feedback lol.

nikka vs black people is one of the most racist bits in the history of comedy. It's legitimately an embarrassment for Chris Rock.

That bit is one of best bits in comedy history. There is a reason why it killed in front of black audiences. This is before everyone became al sensitive.

What I’m I supposed to be listening to in this clip? I don’t feel like listening to and hour of Opie and Anthony.

Freez Luv said that Chris got the idea for nikka v black from a gig he did at the NYC Improv(it might be another club).

Freez said he did basically a bit called " Why I'm a Nikka" and Chris basically just took that and flipped it around.

Now we got three stories here fellas. Lol

It's a known fact that nic diapolo, richard jeni, and rich Vos were on rocks payroll and going up and doing his material during this time.

Nate bergatze and Michelle wolf wrote tambourine, that's why it sounded wack as fukk with no energy. Although I actually like nate.

Well known by whom? Post the evidence.

Y’all love giving credit to whole people for black people’s work.

Wait, are you black?

Once I realized nikka vs black people was written by nic diapolo I haven't looked at any of his standup the same.

:rudy:Lies. I watched the documentary about that special where they talk specifically about that joke at length, nic diapolo was a writer for the chris rock SHOW not this stand up

he's even in the documentary and he says the joke makes him uncomfortable.

side note: I do think that particular joke opened doors for him in white hollywood that wouldn't have opened otherwise
