Nobody outside of maybe Bray, Jericho and Cena have solid characters on the Main roster. Not talking wins and loses, just character. Everybody else is written pretty flimsy, we all take what we can get, but tbh most these guys characters are trash.

We can't be upset that white (racist) writers, create stereotypical black characters. Even if they aren't racist they are basing their characterization off of what they know. You ain't gonna have a black Jake the Snake or Stone Cold, your not gonna have black Brock. Because that shyt is threatening to them. That's just what it is.

Women and children make up a large part of today's WWE audience. Those 2 groups wouldn't be "threatened" by a unique black character. WWE just chooses not to write those types of characters because they don't care.

Lmao yeah white women and children would be threatened by that shyt.

White people see us as useful when we r dancing, or doing sports or acting. They do not see us as complex individuals, therefore there will be no complex characters written BY THEM, FOR US. It's the furthest thing from their minds.

I saw this interview with George R Martin (Game of Thrones) where a black guy asked him about the lack of black characters on GOT. His response was simple "I'm white, if blacks want complex black characters THEY SHOULD WRITE THEM" duhhhhh

It's not an issue of "lazy" or "don't care" that's just what we r to them. You can't be upset at Mexicans for lack Black AAA champs.

How y'all nikkas in a WHITE country, watching WHITE wrestling, mad at how WHITES writing BLACKS in their WHITE SHOW.

Be Realistic. It's nothing to be mad at really.

I feel like I've read at least 2-3 of these threads back when I lurked the boards.

But at this point OP? I think it's the wrestlers themselves tossing the idea out there to try and get some buzz. Because what's more likely to have something written up for a wrestler and get a match/airtime on TV? A straight laced wrestler with no discernible quality about them other than what they can do in the ring? Or the happy, singing/rapping/dancing showman/woman that occasionally dips into the "happy black person" stereotype? Who gets on TV more often in professional wrestling? An Apollo Crews, or a Cryme Time?

shyt's not right and only serves to make it harder for the next black wrestlers that come through to shake that perception, but whatever gets you on the air I suppose.

ROH, TNA and even Lucha Underground have been able to write interesting black characters and allowed them to hold major titles. ROH is part of Sinclair Broadcast Group which is a conservative media group and they allowed Jay Lethal to hold the ROH Title for over a year. This is a WWE issue. Everyone else has moved on except this backwards company.

Vinnie Mac love to see a nikka dancing:mjlol:

They had booker t doing the spinarooni like there was no tomorrow.:bookercomeon:

Every once in a while they might throw in a bobby lashley/faarooq/henry/Rodney mack type that ain't on that goofball bs.

Outside of that you either wearing ridiculous colors like new day/koko b ware, cheesing from ear to ear like Apollo crews, or dancing and doing other buffoonish antics like booker t and r-truth.:dame:

This is probably nit-picking, but I hate Rich Sean's attire. Just looks so soft and safe.

But the WWE is chock full of nondescript white guys with no real gimmick who are on TV every fukking week.
Sami Zayn is the plainest motherfukker on the planet in terms of character and the WWE loves to push him.

I'm honestly surprised they haven't stuck him or Mojo Rawley with a Muslim gimmick just yet. But they'll give white wrestlers more rope to work with (Zayn, Pre Legend Killer Randy Orton and pre Rapper Cena, ect.) than PoC
