Im talking strictly Nets. I know he was garbage everywhere else
That's probably why he doesn't get the credit breh :dead:

They credit J Kidd being at his peak, and the east being relatively "weak" at that time. There were no real stacked teams until Sheed & Larry Brown went to the Pistons and even then that wasn't a stacked team, but just a great team in every sense of the word.

Fair enough. He gets no credit cause the east blew

Not just that, but he hasn't done shyt when he didn't have the best PG in the game on his roster in JKidd and CP3

If he did, he would get more credit but most of it is attributed to them instead.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Meh

Boston won it this year with 53 wins. Conference still lacking :yeshrug:

Because the Cavs clearly didn't give a shyt about the season after the ASB.

Drop this Cavs team into that NBA and they're 4-0, 4-0, 4-0 everyone in the East by an even bigger margin than this year.

As an early 2000s Nets fan, I can't just let yall slander my team like this. Jason Kidd made the All-NBA team in both Finals years, Kenyon Martin made the All-Star team made the All-Rookie team, and Richard Jefferson made the All-Rookie team as well.

I might be bias because I went to a bunch of Nets games during their renaissance but they were a fun team to watch. The one thing they were missing was a Center who could D up Shaq and Duncan.

Black coaches esp former players get no credit. It's always the players they coach who "couldve won with anybody coaching them".

Doc, 1 ring with Celtics: "meh big 3 couldve won with anybody". Thibs was the real coach anyway"

Lue: "meh LeGM won in spite of lue"

I mean, those are true though...

so nikkas here think the 1999- 2000 pacers were a weak ass squad :gucci: :wtf: They lost to the Lakers in 6 in the finals, and out of the early 2000s finals with the Lakers they were easily the best adversary.

they made the ecf in 1998 and 1999 and gave a fierce battle to the dynasty bulls, they lost in 7. And the 1999 knicks went to the ecf in 2000.

pacers made the ecf in 1994, 1995, 1998, 1999 and 2000. 2004 as well. They were not Nets or Sixers status.

As a Nets fan, Byron Scott had a pretty good squad to coach, you had a prime Jason Kidd, an underated Kerry Kittles, a Richard Jefferson was a pleasant surprise, and defensive studs (nh) in Kenyon Martin and Jason Collins. Plus you had the White Twin Towers in Keith van Horn and Brian Scalabrine :mjlol:
