I might have said this before but Curry doesn't get enough credit for this.

Draymond has been an eyesore on offense. Klay is very streaky.

Wiggins is the only dude giving them consistent 2 way play.

Not to mention that the roster still has flaws. No real back up PG, only 1 playable true big man, etc.

No other superstar is getting 73 wins with that 2016 roster.

One of the best parts about Curry and why he's maybe the most ideal piece to build around is the fact that you can build any team around the dude. You can even pair Curry with another point guard and neither player would have to compromise what they do best.

Like you can pair Curry with Luka, Kawhi or Embiid and you'd still gain maximum effectiveness out of both players. That's why it worked so well with KD.

Steph is unselfish but the culture of the franchise is unselfish as well. Hard to explain how important it is to be part of a winning culture man.

From Wiggins:

"It's very positive over here, very positive, everyone's getting along. No egos, nothing like that. Everyone just wants to win. It's just a winning attitude, winning culture, everything is about winning. And we all want to get better, everyone is lifting each other up, cheering for each other, so it's all love over here."

"For sure it's different because everything here is organized. You know what you're doing every night, you know what you're getting yourself into, you know the minutes you're going to play, you know your rotation."

"That's one thing they do here: They're very straightforward. They're not going to sugarcoat nothing. There's no trick questions. So it's good."

This was the 1st time I've ever heard the media quantify Steph Curry's gravity and how it elevates his teammates and it took JJ Redikk a former player to do it.

In my mind the current players in the NBA who are/were tier 1 floor raisers:

Bron
Cp3
Durant

*honorable mention to Jimmy Butler too*

Thats it.

And before Curry stans run up in here with their panties in a bunch, im factoring health in this equation as well. Curry has spent nearly half his career fighting a persistent ankle injury along with secondary injuries here and there.
