No your God is incompatible with the invisible pink unicorns. They are far greater than your god. They don't take kindly to people thinking that god did what they truly have done.
Then start up a church or temple.

Nope, it's not a choice. I can't believe in any religions god(s) no matter how hard I try. I could fake it, but that would be faking and not truly believing. Wouldn't it?It doesn't really work like that but if you want to know why you're an atheist it's because that's what you choose to be.
I don't think you're getting the point of the analogy.

You don't know if the realm exists. But like the fellow in the video, and others including myself have tried to tell you have experienced and seen evidence of this. It is you who chooses not to see.
Okay so why are you talking about it if you don't have an answer yet? Like I said, go back to the lab and when you have something, anything, you can come back and I can tell you how your answer doesn't measure up. Why are you posting in the coli? You have A LOT of work to do.
I didn't bring it up. You did. That was a direct response to "Well, if you care about whether or not your beliefs are true, and whether people agree that your position is supported by the evidence and therefore likely to be true, then yes, it is sort of your problem."
Some gaps? How about the HUMONGOUS one in the very beginning? You know, like how life derives from nothing?
You're right, the creator is not scientific because science is a part of the creation. Thought we established this already. Again, it clearly comes back to your lack of understanding.
I'm sorry, I don't know what "it's possible" means. Sounds like wishful thinking with no results to me. I agree that science does an excellent job of explaining the physical world. But obviously with God, we're not talking about something within the restrictions of the physical universe.

I don't think you sense that I'm not taking you seriously.
Many people have thought along those lines. They've introduced various "gods" and "goddesses" to try to understand the nature of things. But as I said yesterday Zeus doesn't compare to God and neither does your unicorn. God created man and everything else while your unicorn can't exist without physical properties only known to you because of what God has created. A horse, which God created, with a horn, something else found in God's creation, that is pink, a color which describes something physical in God's creation. Therefore, such a thing cannot be the creator.
OK, so you got nothing.Uh... Yes.
Why are you wasting my time, friend?
No, you clearly don't understand. I can state anything about my unicorns just like you do about God. In my "belief" about unicorns your God doesn't exist. I can flip the word God for anything, unicorns, spaghetti monsters, Cthulu, Thor, but the fact that you keep thinking about physical properties means you don't grasp the concept. Watch...
Sblarg created man and everything else while your god can't exist without physical properties only known to you because of what Sblarg has created. A supernatural entity, which Sblarg created, with a human son, something else found in Sblarg's creation, that is Jewish, a type of human which describes something physical in Sblarg's creation. Therefore, such a thing cannot be the creator.
Your example is weak because the basic description of your unicorn is dependent on the creation, therefore cannot be the creator.
If you describe God and call Him by another name, that's fine, but you're still acknowledging your creator. God has many names. Yahweh, Jehovah, Allah, Dios... You can call Him whatever you choose but the minute you begin describing Him with traits from the creation, that's when you're off.
OK, so you got nothing.

Okay, so what is your evidence of the supernatural realm. Merely the fact that we exist?
I'm not sure what you're asking here, or if you understood my point. It doesn't matter if I have an alternative or not. I can still point out the flaws in your reasoning.
It's like if someone asked what's the square root of 179776. I don't have to know the exact answer to know your guess (lets say "5"') is incorrect, or not likely to be correct.
Well, I wasn't saying that to mean "if more people believe something, then that makes it true". I mean, to some degree, you care about what people think on this topic ... otherwise you wouldn't be having this conversation ... you wouldn't be explaining to others why you think your beliefs are right. So, yes, if you want people to regard your opinion as true, or likely true, then yeah... it is your problem.
You act all high and mighty, like you have this great insight. This... superior understanding of the universe. This kind of snobby attitude is really what turns people off to real religious types. You aren't special, you've just deluded yourself that you are.
Have you thought to look up some of the hypotheses for life forming in early Earth? You make it sound like biologists/cosmologists are completely in the dark.
Soooo, you're just picking and choosing which unscientific things you accept?
What do you mean you don't know what "possible" mean?
Your entire argument is that it's impossible for life to have formed without some type of supernatural means... therefore god. It's simply not true.

Until you have an answer for this question, you really have nothing of value to say in this discussion.
Back to the lab, homie. You got A LOT of work to do.![]()
Fixed. The "we don't know" was never a part of the equation.
