j.cole breh you know that you're not always gonna have the amount of stans you do now right breh? it's a blessing that you can drop whatever and almost go plat, you got to take advantage of it now and getting that money.

everyday your fanbase grows older and more and more leave your spell. you should be droppin every 4 months at the longest to get that money. imagine selling 1mil 3-4 times a year:ahh:

your problem is you lack science, you dont know your head from your ass. J Cole prides himself on being a top tier dart thrower a lyricist if you will. He also a rapper who holds value to his music, his not gonna flood the game with gibberish like certain wack trap rappers no his not gonna drop every 3 weeks his gonna take the time needed to craft what he would like to be classic hiphop music.

Thats why he doesnt drop more often.

that's all good and well though, but in 5 years when his fan base has dried up, he's gonna wish he had just gotten that money while he stlil could:yeshrug:

This pretty much sums up why there is such a lack of quality in rap today.

I'm glad Cole takes his time to craft something good-classic, instead of the fast food trash we get fed by most artists. That's why all his material is a first day purchase for me, because it's something worth supporting.

It seems as though you are confusing the fanbase of a run of the mill artist whose fans consist of people who only fukk with you because it's the in thing to do (artist who make fast food trash), with the loyal fanbase of an artist who got their fans based on the quality of their music.

I point to D'Angelo as proof of this. Dude has been gone forever, but came back and still sold well in this shytty climate. Why? Because of the quality of his music and his fans' loyalty.

I'm not the type of person to talk down to anyone. I'm just telling you the facts.

The only way a artist like Cole fanbase dwindles like you are talking about, is if the quality of his music takes a severe hit. Otherwise, he will be straight.

no brehi know from expereince, that onc eyou mature you stop taking this dude serious.

like when i was more naive and lived in la la land maybe i could tolerate this fakkit talking about his 'rough' life and sitting on his own house, and lsing his virginity etc.

but now that i'm a grown man i got bills to pay and it just seems like some bulshyt to me.

i think once his fan base matures, they'll stop being fans just like i did

Why over saturate the market? Quality typically declines

to get the getting while the gettin's good breh$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

think of it like this.

thik of a rap career as making breakfast. you can only do it for a limited amount of the day. let's say i'm making bacon (making music) and selling it. knowing that i only have so much time tomake thtat breakfast, should i make each piece of bacon perfect and take the time to do it right, or make as much bacon as possible and sell it as fast as possible before brekfast is over (think of one day of breakfast as a whole career)

I know where you're coming from, but I think you may also be underestimating his fan base's loyalty. You may have out grown him, but that doesn't necessarily mean others will.
