you're right about that tbh. all i really listen to nowadays is 50, Pun, DMX, Jadakiss, and that's about it. i'll listen to some of the new hits cuz i just like the overall sound like rae srremund etc but i don't put it on my ipod/get to know the artist

This pretty much sums up why there is such a lack of quality in rap today.

I'm glad Cole takes his time to craft something good-classic, instead of the fast food trash we get fed by most artists. That's why all his material is a first day purchase for me, because it's something worth supporting.

j.cole breh you know that you're not always gonna have the amount of stans you do now right breh? it's a blessing that you can drop whatever and almost go plat, you got to take advantage of it now and getting that money.

everyday your fanbase grows older and more and more leave your spell. you should be droppin every 4 months at the longest to get that money. imagine selling 1mil 3-4 times a year

There was not little interest for his first album, it sold 220k first week and he promoted it for months.

And he's busy touring, living life, running a label and then he has to record another album. It's not like he has albums stashed on his computer.


In order for him to keep people interested he has to deliver dope music.
