Why doesn't New York City have a Jay-Z or Rakim mural yet?

When you go to Chicago, Los Angeles, or Oakland, you'll see a mural of all the legends that came from there.

Jay-z is literally the best selling New York rapper and has been around since the 90's ever and still no mural

Uptown, NYC
Rakim is from Long Island.

And there is an art installation and mural out there for him.

Jay had a mural in the Brooklyn Central Library.

Above the fray.
Hip hop started in NY. Too many legendary rappers from the boroughs, L.I , and above the BX for there to be thoughts of living rappers.

Murals/statues go up for rappers who passed away or figures from 1st generation era.
