Why Doesn't Slick Rick Rap Anymore?

I thought in an interview once he said he'd make another album when the people were ready for a more grown up, mature rap album.

I don't know about a hit, but I think BDK could drop a damn good album if he got legitimate production.

He does, but he's waiting for a gap in the market for his style again. Personally I think he's timeless so could drop anytime.
