Would you eat chitterlings?I invited some of my American friends to a Nigerian party and they were offered Peppered Snail, at first these dudes acted like they were given human flesh. Eventually i managed to convince them to try it and they actually liked it.

That is why you cook it to kill the any parasite. Clams, oyster and snail are from the same family anyway.Snails can carry a parasite that if transmitted to humans, effectively eats our brains.

I'm not against eating snail. I've eaten tounge, internal organs like liver and intestines. I'd imagine snail would be just fine.
